Equestrian Education Systems, Inc. (EES) specializes in educating both instructors and riders for the benefit of the horse. Founded in 2001 by the late Jill Hassler-Scoop, EES developed as a result of nearly 40 years of experience working with riders and horses of all levels. Jill was an internationally known educator, author and clinician. In her final years, she met and collaborated with Eckart Meyners, a noted professor of Sports Physiology and Body Movement at the University of Lüneburg in Germany. They shared a strong belief that an integrated approach to equestrian instruction results in a complete education system that helps both horse and rider reach their highest potential. From this perspective they developed the Balimo™ Program, which combines classical equestrian principles with rider exercises, Eckart's unique teaching methodology, sports psychology, and other non-equine disciplines.
Through the Balimo™ Program, EES carries forward its mission to improve the lives of horses through rider education, and is committed to being a leader in the equestrian instruction field.
